We urgently need you to add your comment--and the comments of the members in your local lodge--to fight
the Department of Labor's proposal to drive down training and labor standards in construction registered apprenticeship programs. Programs like our Boilermaker National Apprenticeship Program (BNAP).
If you haven't yet done so, please visit http://www.saveboilermakerapprenticeships.org/#/21/ to add your comment and share that
link with all your members and urge them to add their comment. It only takes a moment, and the more comments posted against the proposal, the better chance we have of preserving our Apprenticeship
and avoid disaster. Do it today. We only have a few weeks left until the comment period closes!
If you have a large project in your area that you can handbill, an upcoming Union meeting, a retiree
luncheon, or any other event that brings Boilermakers together, please spread the word! We have attached a flyer you can download, print and share with your members, along with this email. Feel free
to pass out the attached flyer to all Boilermakers that visit the Local Lodge. If you need assistance or have ideas to help us in this effort, please let us know.
We also ask that you urge your family and friends to join in our support by adding their comment in a
special "family and friends" section at https://www.saveconstructionapprenticeships.org.
We need your voice! Our programs are depending on all of us.
